Cambrian News: Cambrian Associates gets ready to grow as demand kicks in

Cambrian Associates has announced expansion plans for the second half of 2009, building on the economic ‘green shoots' and a thriving core business by offering its services nationally through the recruitment of in house staff and independent agents.

Cambrian Associates has been forging links with agents to bring in new business from parts of the country outside its traditional North West and North Wales target area, and, even in its fledgling stage, this strategy already accounts for eight per cent of new business over the last month.

At the same time, increased demand locally has already led to the appointment of two new staff members, para-planners Sharon Haddock and Helen Jackson, and a minimum of three more will be added to the 23-strong team over the coming months to deal with the influx of business from both near and far.

"The right time to invest is now, so it's no surprise that we're in demand," says Roger Taylor, managing director, Cambrian Associates. "And, because the way we're communicating with clients is evolving, we're able to offer our services to clients further afield. The additional staff we're taking on will mean that we can still offer our traditional levels of service."
