Mr D is a diabetic and wanted cover to provide for the repayment of his mortgage. We submitted an application to four different Insurers in order to obtain the best terms. Initially, it was not possible to obtain critical illness cover so we repeated the exercise a couple of years later – this time we were successful. They are now in a situation where the mortgage will be repaid if either of them dies or if they suffer an insured condition.
