Protection. There are two
stages to the process, we need to establish the type and
amount of cover that you require. We then research the
market to identify the most appropriate and competitive
providers.
Competition
has lead to reduced premiums and we can help you to review
your cover regularly – this can often enable you to pay
less or enjoy improved benefits. In addition to
life cover we also offer advice on the following: |
Critical Illness Cover. |
Income during Ill Health. |
Unemployment Cover. |
Private Medical Insurance. |
Long Term Care Insurance. |
Group Protection. |
|
We believe that insurance is a waste of money until you
make a claim! Therefore we specialise in helping you to
decide and calculate how much cover you need and then
obtaining it as economically as possible. |
CASE STUDY (i).
Tony is self-employed with quite a
large mortgage, two small children and a non-working
wife. We advised them to provide for the repayment of
the mortgage if either of them died and an additional
lump sum to provide extra financial security on death.
Tony would also need an income in the event of
long-term ill health. These three benefits were all
available in a Policy from Scottish Provident and the
monthly premium was under £30. The Policy is flexible
so it can be amended to their changing personal
circumstances. Other benefits (such as critical
illness cover) can also be incorporated. |

We were introduced to Cambrian in the early 1990’s. They
have arranged our mortgage on each occasion that we have
moved and reviewed our protection needs when the children
were born and when we increased our borrowing. They also
look after our pensions. It is reassuring to know that we
can get in touch with them if we need advice and that we
will receive an annual review. We feel that they are
constantly working on our behalf and striving to keep our
costs down.

CASE
STUDY (ii). Mr D is a diabetic and
wanted cover to provide for the repayment of his mortgage.
We submitted an application to four different Insurers in
order to obtain the best terms. Initially, it was not
possible to obtain critical illness cover so we repeated
the exercise a couple of years later – this time we were
successful. They are now in a situation where the mortgage
will be repaid if either of them dies or if they suffer an
insured condition. |

We were introduced to Cambrian by a work colleague in
1999. Their help has been invaluable in putting our
finances on an even keel and guaranteeing repayment of our
mortgage before our intended retirement. We have also used
their services to complain to our Bank about products
which we believe to have been mis-sold. Their help in
providing draft letters, advice and responses has also
been invaluable. We have recommended that friends and
colleagues should contact Cambrian for help in financial
matters.
