You will regularly be instructed by one of the Advisers to research and cost appropriate products together with obtaining comparative projections for future retirement benefits from pension providers. Often, you will be working to a very tight deadline as the information is required for Reports. These are just a few examples of a varied and interesting role and full training will be provided in all of these areas.
- Compiling Reports. Every time the Adviser makes a recommendation, this must be followed up with a written Report and which may incorporate research that you have already been asked to carry out. You will be trained to compile drafts of such Reports which will then be checked and where necessary, altered and augmented by the Adviser before being sent to the client by email or Royal Mail.
- Preparation. When the Adviser or you have made an appointment with a client, you will need to prepare and partially complete the appropriate paperwork.
- Submission of Business. When the recommendation of the Adviser has been implemented, you will check that everything has been correctly completed and, if so, submit it via our New Business Team who will check it and, if satisfactory, submit it to the appropriate provider.
Much of your work will be done online and you will often have to use your initiative to carry out the research that has been requested. The Adviser is hugely experienced and will be able to guide you. Furthermore, there are several other people within the office carrying out similar work so there will be no shortage of help and guidance.
