Cambrian staff contributed last week to a donation drive to send items including food, clothing and sheets to help refugees in Calais who are fleeing war in Syria and elsewhere.

The organisation, CalAid, is organising donation drops every fortnight to provide shelter, warmth and sustenance to refugees in Calais, which is part of a wider migration crisis in Europe – caused largely by the displacement of people from war-torn countries such as Syria, Sudan, Afghanistan and Eritrea.
